I feel like I was even being isolated from my friends - why should I have to choose?

Tengo sueno; up over night last night. What kept me from a lower number was knocking out a rather macho rogue program on my work PC without any help. One less thing to stress me out, now if I could only sneak a nap in somewhere before class tonight.....

-1 Thinking about yesterday and how my husband said I'm the most f..ked up person he knows. He also stated that he is surprised he has stayed with me this long and how no one else would ever put up with me.

-4. Just spent the last 25 minutes on the phone with a verbally abusive client yelling and swearing at me over how he's not eligible for any assistance programs despite being on SSDI and having health problems, how that is somehow my fault and how a person like me doesn't know how it is to be in his shoes.

The irony is that between my autism, back/neck injuries and pain, total lack of a support system, life in disarray, etc. he would probably be worse off in the shoes of "a person like me." Folks, be kind to your social workers. We are people, too.

Lol, that's almost comical. Suppose its fair to say that most people are in their own little worlds and if they're not careful they start unveiling that bubble somewhat tactlessly.

One of my own frustrations as such is when I'm calling on overpayments from up to three or four years ago and the person on the other end of the line decides to get sharp with me and ask why I personally sat on it for that long or why this shouldn't be bringing up performance issues with my manager (well....we're contracted and 'we' saw this as of today? hmmm...). Anymore I take phone rage a bit like road rage - its a faceless form that they're filling with whatever stereotypes feel right at the moment.

It gets better. He has some sort of medical condition that effects his memory, so I get phone calls like this every few weeks, which always begin with me being berated for not returning his previous calls, since he always forgets the last phone conversation we had.

He was referred to me by a previous client who has the same condition (they met in a support group or something, I think). I've tried explaining to her that he is not eligible for services, but she forgets and gives him my phone number again. I want to write her a letter clearly stating he is not eligible and to stop telling him to call me, but cannot due to privacy laws. I cannot write him one because he typically hangs up on me before I can get his mailing address.

So, the cycle is just going to continue ...

Mmm yeah, my instructor had a older gent for Tai Chi who was going that way and kinda did the same thing regarding schedule changes he was told about but didn't remember.

I don't know about that policy however, as in if he's calling you constantly about this he's essentially forging a professional relationship with you and you should have every right to send something hard copy in the mail to him explaining his ineligibility and, perhaps the kicker, a phone number or email address of someone who can periodically review his eligibility status for resubmission.

Yes, that is the dream. If I can get his mailing address before he hangs up on me next time ...

Reflecting on how I dapped Lydia up on Skyrim last night with full ebony armor. She's looking like Night Rider now.

-2. Techstep won't speak English.

Edit: Nevermind, I figured out that must be some sort of video game or D&D reference.
