I am not too fat.
I am not too thin.
I am just right,
To fit inside my skin!

You're in China. I've never been to China.

I hope your lady takes you out to some rural areas....or at least the Great Wall.

@auntblabby That is not a proper self-compliment! :D I think you can do better!

I have been working on NOT seeing every situation as black or white lately, and I think I'm starting to get better at seeing the possible gray areas. My sister recently lashed out at me (right after my grandmother's funeral) and said some very hurtful things, and I stepped back and restrained myself from flipping out (I used to have a very short temper, but I guess I have calmed down in recent years). I still don't really know how I will proceed (I still feel hurt and a bit angry), but I have realized that her actions may not even fully be about me.

I'm pretty good at shrugging my shoulders, and seeming to be nonchalant 8)

According to my very tiny group of friends (more like family to me), I am very easy to talk to/unburden to about multiple subjects (even taboo ones) as I am not judgmental or pushy. I've always been surprised at how open people feel they can be with me. I'm not the greatest at giving advice or dealing with emotions verbally, so perhaps my sympathetic silences are more comforting than I know.

Reframing today

I woke up late after having a creative dream
My team beat Lazio yesterday so I wore my favourite outfit
I did part of a crossword
I did a whole picture
I did some art research
I read 50 pages of a book

So no I didn't 'fail today'. Also I'm on meds and they're starting to kick in
