This architecture is unacceptable. I was expecting one of the more mainstream ones that have a more widespread support. The coding and hardware utilization for this one are sloppy at best. It works, sometimes, sometimes extremely well, but it is inefficient and has a tendency to overheat.

Check eBay. Some hard to find and "desirable" used games go for a lot. I payed $70.00 U.S. for a copy of Rez for the PS2 a year or so ago. Less than four years ago, but more than a few months.

My sense of time for more than a couple months ago is pretty bad.

As for the people you are referring to, they may simply think they can get away with it.

hah no no no, just as an example. Stuff like the SNES final fantasy games (especially in mint condition) can go for a good amount.
