Aw what a lovely orange kitty

!
Thanks!
As it happens he's right here on the desk with me.
Is quite a story to his life, he is literally rescued roadkill.
An acquaintance found him early one morning at juvenile age injured barely alive in the mud between a rural highway and a mechanic's shop.
Had just enough life to be worth trying to save.
From injuries and his personality we figured he had at some point been dumped, lived on his own for a while, then was hit by a vehicle.
Thought he might have to have left rear leg amputated because of injuries to it and mostly because of lack of nerve control.
With some physical therapy and his own enthusiasm he kept the leg.
We don't know if foot on that leg was misshapen by birth defect or as a result of getting run over.
He is 12 years old now.
Can be a sweetheart or a stinker as the spirit moves him
Was a wonderful "foster daddy" to some orphaned barn kittens about a decade ago.
