Feeling about a +7 right now, because I've been granted a short window of freedom to get away for a few days of hiking. Next week it will slam shut until the fall. I need every opportunity to reduce the stress of caregiver burnout.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Autism Speaks will NEVER speak for me

I checked the forums my husband used to frequent just for curiousity, and they are STILL treating him like the bad guy. F***ing a**holes... :x

I wouldn't attach the same credibility to forums as "real life."

People hide behind the anonymity of the Internet.

Sorry, it's just that when I see those posts, it makes me angry, because I know none of those comments are true. All my husband did was stick up to a new member there, as well as make amends to someone he didn't care for, and yet he got crapped on by pretty much everyone on the forums. He was really upset about this when it happened. :(

-8. Left work early (took sick leave) before I got myself fired. My boss got mad at me for "questioning her authority", because I asked for reasoning behind a decision. I didn't realize I was suddenly enrolled in the military where I should follow orders without question. I have other issues with her actions as supervisor, but I've been able to avoid her usually enough from any problems to reveal themselves.

From one miserable job to another. I give up. I'm scrolling what's available for employment, and I just don't know what my next move should be. I don't really even trust her to put in my sick time as requested, even though it was stated in front of other employees. I don't know if I should try to stick it out, since we'll be moving in a couple years. My thought right now is no, but it could be just out of the frying pan into the fryer. Not working isn't an option right now. My people skills suck. The only reason I've lasted this long is by not commenting when she insults other/former coworkers behind their backs. It's an us/them mentality with her, and I just have no patience anymore.

:wall: :( :wall: :( :wall:
