Got back from the dentist an hour or so ago, and they didn't find anything wrong (not that I had any reason to expect them to, I was just in for a routine checkup and cleaning - but I'm always terrified that they will, so much so that I'm shaking the whole time - don't know why even the idea frightens me so much, maybe just because it's something I haven't experienced before?). So now I'm filled with relief and excitement at everything being fine and not having to do that again for another six months or so.

-9. Depression's really bad today for some reason, I don't know why. Why should I bother continuing to live? But at least it's draining my energy enough to not to anything about it - yay? But my urge to self-harm also has been very strong for the past week or so - the only reason I haven't done it is because I'm not satisfied with pins anymore, and I've told my parents about it and they locked away all sharp things in the house. Can't guarantee that if I was left alone in the house, though, I wouldn't go looking for things they may have missed, but I can guarantee that if I had some sort of blade, I'd absolutely go overboard with the cutting even though my intent isn't to die. Nothing seems to help, all of this crap just keeps coming back time and again - wondering if I'm just going to have to live like this, and again, what's the point of that?
