I'm doing really well, thanks!

I haven't slept in 24 hours and I'm giddy from jetlag but I had an extremely wonderful day and night!

I hope things are starting to feel more positive regarding your grandmother. I lost my father to cancer and I absolutely despise it like an enemy. (I like to say we have a hate-hate relationship).

I know the anguish than can be felt even when it's only a possibility, so I hope there is very good news coming her way. In the meantime just let her know how much she's loved.

It's interesting how if Russians post about American politics in a partisan way, it's supposed to be a crime. Yet when those from other countries do so nonstop, that's supposed to be perfectly okay.

As for the Nazi reference: Damn all Nazi's for supporting Hitler, especially once they were in the know about what he was doing. But not necessarily all Germans - there were good ones, too; they saved Jews. In the USA right now, it's a very similar (but lower magnitude) dynamic. Damn all Trump supporters, but not all Americans, because there are good ones, too. Most of them are Democrats on the left, others are independents/have no political affiliations. But Trump supporters? Just like Nazis; f**k all of them.

The republicans don’t claim to be the party of love and caring, they aren’t shouting love trumps hate. They blunt and say what they think and don’t try to hide it. They voice their opinions but they don’t call people horrible things like the left here does.
