My mood's taken a nose-dive yesterday and today for no apparent reason, before that I was at the point once again where I didn't really feel anything because my depression was numbing my emotions. And I found a lump about where my neck joins my shoulder, which Dr. Google (I know, I know - but I wanted to see what was in that area, if it could be a blocked gland or something) says is probably either a cyst or lymphoma (too deep and not soft/malleable enough to be a lipoma, I think, which are benign). I'm really not sure whether I do or don't want it to be the latter - I've been wishing I would die of natural causes for quite some time now. But then I'd have to undergo cancer treatment, and it's unlikely to be an imminent threat to my life (survival rates for lymphoma 10 years after diagnosis are in the nineties, percentage-wise, until it reaches stage 4, according to one Web site I looked at). Really, I just can't stop thinking about it. But knowing my body, it's probably absolutely nothing and I'm going to look stupid for thinking it might be anything if I see my doctor to have it looked at :roll:

Thanks domineekee. It happened early Sunday but the magnitude of it all is still hitting me.

My nephew and his best friend were stabbed on Sunday morning. It was a random attack caught on CCTV.
His friend was stabbed repeatedly in the back and has a punctured lung. He developed pneumonia. He is still in hospital in serious condition although he is expected to live.

My nephew is recovering from his wound, but is significantly traumatised.
