You seem to have more going for you than you think you do.

I think some sort of "depression" is clouding your judgment of yourself.

You're right about that. I have an appointment with my therapist soon so she'll probably help me make sense of What's going on. Thank you so much for your concern.

It's always better to try hard, to make an effort.

Frequently, I don't listen to my own advice. Inevitably, in these instances, I flounder, and develop physical symptoms.

I know what you mean.
I hope you still have positive things to say about yourself or hope in.

Thanks. I generally like myself to be honest regardless of the world's demands but when i take them seriously i start to hate myself.

Improved. My four legs is much perkier, I am much perkier, haven't got his test results yet. He is out of danger territory though, I can tell that just from his behaviour.

Not entirely good news on the test results. His albumin and total protein counts are abnormal, not in a dire range, though the vet thinks they possibly represent an early stage cancer. The improvement I saw today the vet thinks is due to steroids taking effect and they should keep him buoyant for six weeks. If he declines again, I am going to arrange an ultrasound to image his organs for possible tumours. I am a bit shaken by the news although it isn't as bad as it could have been.
