Please people... can we just stop this?

Neither conservatives nor liberals are bad people they're just people with their own opinions on what they think is right and wrong.

Four legs update: He has continued to improve, stable, now eating a bit more and making more progress.

Owner update: Arrgghhhhhhhhh have developed shingles today - no doubt as a result of the intense stress and my innately weak immune system. (The immunologist warned me a few months ago that I was at risk of this happening, and I doubted it as I couldn't recall ever having had chicken pox. She said maybe it happened when I was very young).

Now I am concerned that when four legs is ready to be discharged as expected in a day or two, I won't be recovered enough to bring him home and it may not be safe for him to be exposed to :((

No energy at all. Will drag self to doctor tomorrow.

PS: Members, I am still on leave from modteam, please don't send me requests for mod help until further notice. Thanks.

Thank you very much for that information CathyLynn. One less thing to worry about just now.

7.5

Got a few things done after work, made a nice salad & omelette for dinner/lunch tmw, just finishing off a local IPA and about to hit the hay. I'd say 8 or higher but it's 11:30pm already and I'm not going to get as much sleep as I should. Again. Ah well, I'll survive.

It's evening here, I hope the doctor can fit me in tomorrow as it is very uncomfortable, as you will know so well from your own recent experience of inflamed skin. Thanks for your support re my cat. That is very nice of you.

Sorry to hear that. :(

My mama often makes me feel that way too. It's like she thinks my quirks are done on purpose.

Liberals are so terrible what with their believing in human rights, education, healthcare for all, welfare/disability social safety nets, food programs, minimum wage, employment standards, marriage equality, wage equality, women’s rights etc. Just awful political beliefs. No wonder so many people are incompatible with liberals. Liberals, ew gross!

My wife had an attack of shingles a few months ago and it didn't affect any of our cats. So there's no need to worry about that, at least.

My father was a conservative; he wasn't a racist or Nazi.

I have a great admiration for John McCain, conservative. So did many people.

That's a great point, kraftie. It's too bad people with conservative values don't choose to identify themselves as McCain fans instead of trump supporters.

Many diseases can’t be passed from nonhuman animals to humans.
