13 years later and I still feel like I will never have a girlfriend nor special talents. Even when I try to see myself as a late bloomer, my mind still tells me it's too late for anything to get better.

I don't have any "special talents," either. All I can do is howl at the Moon....

I'm not particularly talented either, but it doesn't bother me.

Its a 0 kind of day for me...could be better...could be worse.

How can I stay in the present when my past is marked by failure and my future looks bleak?

You can improve your present....by not "forgetting" the past---but by learning from the mistakes you made in the past. Or learning from the traumas of your past (while not forgetting them)

And not letting your past influence what you do in the present, unless it serves to allow you to avoid the traumas which happened to you in the past.

This will improve your prospects for the future.

There's no other way you will ensure a decent future.

9+

Had time to kill, so spent it with a fit 25yo pharmacy student with a degree in neuroscience.. and it was hot. Time to cook dinner with a beach friend near campus before I head home. 8)

-6 wish I hadn’t bought that sword for $340.
It came defective and for last month I’ve been fighting with the store who says it’s normal and swords are diy projects and I just need to spend more money to make it look like their pictures. Never heard anyone in the YouTube videos or forums express this nor is it stated on their site or any other stores. Another store inspects every sword before shipping and doesn’t send any that aren’t perfect out. I ordered from here cause their extended warranty but they drop ship.
If one of my guns came with a finish issue the company would have it shipped back and fixed or replaced not tell me to go buy stuff and refinish it.
It’s killed my interest in swords. I could bought another gun for that or gone on a trip. It’ll cost me $100 to ship it back but they won’t give me a partial refund. It’s almost two months since I got it. Maybe I should just file a claim with PayPal and hope they side with me

Another thing cool about guns is if I don’t like the finish I can refuse to accept it and walk away with my money.
It cost the company $15 to ship it to me couldn’t the just make a shipping label with their discount.

File a paypal claim ASAP IMO.
