Posthumously, though (like Van Gogh), people frequently find fame when one is forced to investigate the "wisp."

seems to me that the primary goal of a mutual support society such as ours, is to find out ways to make people WANT to investigate the wisps while they are still wisping good and plenty.

Yep...a most laudable goal, indeed!

And something which has practical purpose.

australia is supposed to be a country where you don't starve to death but in order to receive dole as an able person you have to show that you are looking for work, they build cities where you would get your own food and make you justify your life

centrelink's queues and forms and phone calls on hold is all part of the control, you have to compartmentalise your time so that some of it is not 'yours', if you will not work, they will still waste your time to spite you and undermine your autonomy, or you'll starve or you'll grow your own food and they will come with guns and get you off their land... because they decided the earth belongs to them because you need it, and once you need something of theirs, you owe them.

wanting control over aspects of your life as basic as your sleep schedule is not an entitlement complex, it is your employer who feels entitled to dictate it.

game shows with cash prizes are not games, money isn't a toy, when the contestants go on there hoping to pay for school, it is the rich extorting entertainment out of the poor.

i can't understand the distinction that red blooded americans see between employment and slavery. most people don't have a choice not to work, it seems simple. internet phrase "wage slave" is another one that has been called "entitled", young people are so entitled argh! natural way of life ripped out from under us new world built to produce f*****g iphones and who cares if we get enough sleep, autonomy gone. you're not entitled to autonomy if you love what you do you never work a day in your life!! !

ardent comment section knights of capital constantly talking about how nobody would have motivation to do anything but consume if they weren't going to die otherwise like even if it were true it would be some slam dunk!!

I hate alram clocks! enough people hate their jobs for garfield to be popular even though it's not good

the need for alarm clocks is a sign that we are wageslaves. i would toss and turn in the dreading of the daggone things going "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!" and lose perhaps 2 hours of sleep by that dreading.

Oh,

My dad,

he come pick me up,

he don't know I'm drunk,

I pretend, I do my best,

Maybe he don't figure out...

Supposedly... I have a choice here, whether contrary to the situation at hand or not.

Let's see here; slow day, headaches and sneezing fits, decent weather, some sweet treats and a filled belly, a pissed off boss a hour ago, some funny joke, some unreliably setup of a desk, two breakfasts in a morning, some leering neighbor guy, waking early enough, slept badly...

... Yeah, I just dunno.

8. My tooth still aches a little, but I had a root treatment on monday so now the pain should go away in a few days. The dentist said it's normal if it's still sore for a while. I'm now sitting at McDonalds as I just finished a chicken wrap and will head to my autism support group after I finish writing this... though I feel a little quilty now for eating junk food since I did that yesterday too (dad's treat), but it's not like I have time to go eat at home and this was close, so yeah... but I have to eat out on friday too since I'm going to karaoke and have no time to go home to eat. My budget can handle it, but the places and foods I like aren't exactly the healthiest. :/
