What Trepal did was, of course, reprehensible and he should never see the light of day for it.

Still....the Carr family DID seem a little "white trashy" and annoying. When I was living in the Florida keys, I found alot my white trashy neighbors pretty annoying too with their howling and aggressive mutts, loud music, loud voices, etc....


Trepal was a mensa member, chemist and fairly geeky and eccentric.

Smells a bit Aspie-ish eh???



Anyway....hope this doesn't give the OP any ideas. 8O :P

Oh...OK. Well Dilbert we're more similar than I thought. I do let rationality prevail, and I have refrained from assaulting any of these creeps, or even destroying some of their property. But restraining myself from those actions costs me enormously because the rage and stress stays inside, with deleterious health effects. That was my real point, that not taking drastic action also has a price.

But the harassment, ESPECIALLY from a neighbor you can expect to be around constantly, has a negative effect anyway. I congratulate you that you do not have a problem with these types of feelings. I am envious of that level of control. But that control does not stem from a high self-esteem, which I have in abundance.


Dilbert is right about some things. Her sister lives a couple doors down. I don't think my neighbor shows a lot of respect to her.

Dtoxic. You are 100% right. It is impossible for the harrassment to not effect anyone.
