I hope so too. If things don't improve soon, I don't know how much longer I can take being such a sh***y and worthless life.

You're not either of them, you're wonderful. :D

Tell that to my family. They're always on my ass for not driving, not having a boyfriend, not losing enough weight, not having a "real job" and not having written my "best selling book that will pay off all of their debt forever and ever." They wonder why I'm full of anxiety and depression. This is too much pressure for someone who is not even out of school yet. >.<

Coming from me, a guy who is far too skinny to be attractive, hasn't a license yet, isn't even going to college, doesn't and likely will not have a job for a couple years and can barely even write or do math, I think they'd call me a superfailure. D: It's gonna be a long time before I'm able and ready to get a girlfriend/boyfriend.

Don't listen to them, you've almost gone through college which is an achievement in itself. And you have the most lovely personality. :D You have a lot going for you too. I'd be pretty proud if I was your father/mother.

I'm not sure what I have going for me at this point and my family probably doesn't either. I'm a godless heathen to them for leaving Christianity and I hope they never find out that I lost my virginity. They would flip. D:

What do I have going for me? Be honest. I'll be able to tell if you're just lying to be nice.

Hi Erisad,

I have been following your posts for a while and you seem really sweet. I can relate to having pressure put upon me by relatives, you need to tell them in maybe a not so kind way to back the eff off, life does not happen on a timetable. You're doing the best you can with what you have, and that is something to be proud of.

As far as your body image goes, I've seen your pics you look cute, and I wouldn't be complimenting you if it wasn't sincere. There are a lot of guys out there (me included) that like bigger girls (as long they're cute, lol) It's good that you are losing weight, I am sure once you lost a lot of weight, you'll not only look better but feel better. Do you exercise at all? Not only will you lose weight you will feel better from all the endorphins running through your body.

So to sum it all up, you're a really cool girl, and tell all the haters they can keep their haterade. 8)

*sigh* I've tried that. Then they get mad at me for sassing them and blah blah blaaaaah. D:

I usually do Ab Blaster classes twice a week but this week I've fallen behind since I was helping a friend move yesterday and helped set up the drag show for work last Wednesday. I am doing a choreographed fight for faire, so I'm swinging a broadsword around. I also walk everywhere around campus, as I have no car.

Thanks for the nice words and stuff. I don't know what else to say, really. >.>

You've almost fully been through college, something a lot of people can't even do. You're a heck of a lot more functional than a lot of us here. You are quite a wonderful person too.

If my mind wasn't all fuzzy I'd be able to think of more. D:

Awww, thanks. Sometimes I don't feel very functional so it's nice that somebody thinks I am. :)

If you can't love the one you want, then love the one you're with. I'm with me quite often.

Hey, you manage to put up with a not-so-sultry family, and until recently keep a relationship and go to college. Most would collapse from the stress. D:

I've started loving myself a year and a half ago, and it's been worth it.

I think it's just another bs thing people say. It has a bumper sticker quality to it and people love that. That's wisdom. Fits on a bumper sticker. I like myself usually but don't love myself. Ive had both successful and unsuccesful relationships and been in love.

Here's a better bumper sticker:

"If two people love each other, there can be no happy end to it" -- Hemingway.

But no one buys that sticker because it's depressing.

Moog - Odd, I'm with myself quite often too. Sometimes I leave myself for random secret missions and I get all lonely. :P Seriously, I feel that's a good application of that quote. Before I felt like that was only settling, which I guess it still is to an extent but it's a lot more positive. :D

Jonsi - I had a lot of meltdowns throughout college, especially this past year since I'm withdrawing from anti-depressants. I've been off them for 10 months so I'm excited for that. ^.^

CockneyRebel - That's fantastic. I'm very happy for you and I hope that I can make it there myself one day. :)

Simon_says - That makes sense. It reminds me of George Carlin's bit on bumper stickers. XD

True, sadly most bumper stickers don't have enough space to put motivating and accurate messages. :P

Maybe you should look into fashion and make yourself colourful and all cute like...look in a mirror and then go "Who's that sexy gal!?!" and kink at yourself....and watch the charisma flow from within you.

A fantasy attempt....but I tried that once (replace gal with guy) and it worked up to a point.

I've done that a few times. Most recently, yesterday when I was getting ready for my friend's photo shoot. I didn't say it out loud but I thought it. XD

Remember, baby steps. Then you shall be fashion queen!

Seriously though, LOVE YOURSELF! THE FORCE IS IN YOU!

Lol, I'm not a fashion queen and I won't be a model for a living, I'm sure, as I love food too much. :P

I'm tryyiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!
