Killing yourself accomplishes absolutely nothing. I suppose there is little I can say that can persuade anyone to do anything, I am bad with such words. However, how can the world benefit from a purposeless death? How can you benefit? All I see is a loss for all involved from this approach. Life is not something to be given up on, sacrificed for a greater cause maybe, but, this is not a sacrifice for a greater cause. Whether or not the world cares for this matter, you should care, this is your life and there is little reason for you to surrender it. In life there are choices and the question ends up being whether or not these choices lead to a good result or a bad result. Killing yourself is a choice, the question is whether or not wasting a life is a good option. All I see is another person needlessly dead, but perhaps I am wrong about such things, however, I just do not view suicide as a solution to life's problems. I will not deny that this is your choice no matter what, I just ask that you reconsider.

Well, I presume it's past the deadline in America, and ladakh hasn't posted in a week, so does anyone know whether he died? I hope he didn't. The Romans may have said mortuis nil nissi bonum, but I make exceptions for ba$!ards and those who committed suicide over something that is not irrevocable, but have done something to themselves that is irrevocable.

Okay, I say again: does anyone know of the status and/or whereabouts of ladakh?

I'm guessing he has moved to another part of the country where he has family
and maybe he does not have internet access right now.

We can only hope that he is alright.

On the bright side, thanks for making me feel better about my life, TM1. I figured you were younger than me, but I was wrong.

I am concerned to know if anyone has heard from Ladakh and if things are going better for him.

Well I have not heard from him either. He had very little money and was going to have to
move. He may not even had the money for a phone line much less internet access. I
did a search for suicides in the PA area and came up with no good matches that seem to
fit his profile. My guess is he has not killed himself but is having a hard time making ends
meet in a new city. He had family in various states and I offered him a free place to crash
till he found a job so he had places to go.
