Sorry you've been going through such a rough time, OliveOilMom, but it's good to hear from you. :heart:

I'm glad you're alright OliveOilMom. I don't really see any reason to disbelieve your stories. *Shrug*

Thank you for replying to my PMs. What projects have you been sewing and crocheting?

I'm here. I've had a lot going on and been busy with real life face to face stuff, and just haven't gotten online very often because of it. I check FB once a week or so but thats about it.

In answer to some of the posts on this thread:

No, I didn't go to jail for "bullying a female who disagreed with me", and what I do here isn't bullying it's disagreeing and arguing. I swear to God, you can use anything to twist it around to make yourself a victim, can't you?

Nope, I'm not making a single thing up. Everything I've told ya'll is true the only thing I change is some names and identifying details. I'm well aware that some of it, especially to people who don't know the same people I do and who don't regularly get themselves into strange situations, can seem completely made up, but unfortunately it's all true. Also, the town I live in is like something out of Faulkner, and I'm sure that the availability of all that batshit craziness in such a close proximity to me (who seems to attract batshit crazy anyway) adds to my ability to get into these situations. Thats why I'm always so stressed out.

Mindsigh, I'm not bipolar, and actually sometimes wish I was because there are meds for that. I just have clinical depression which comes and goes and I'm very outspoken so I'm sure I come across as some kind of loony tunes many times, but it's just depression from time to time, no manic thrown in to balance things out. I just handle all the crap I can and then when it's too much I lose it and go a little crazy for a few days but I end up dealing with things.

LOL I love it that ya'll considered that I might be in the lockup though. I don't usually hit people first, as much as I'd like to, so I'm still here at home, in the free world. If I were to be in jail, I'm sure one of my kids would post it on my FB page so everybody would know where I was and Spongy or Mindsigh or some of the other folks from here would see it and let ya'll know. Ya'll thought I was in jail but nobody wondered if I was sick or hurt lol. My younger daughter is sitting across the room from me and I told her that and she laughed and said "They know you so well!"

Smudge, I've messaged you back, and answered other inquiries as to if I'm ok or where I'm at.

So, here are a few of the things that have been going on.

Kids;
My youngest son who had moved out is still moved out. He's living with his gf in her mother's old house about a mile from here because her mother remarried and moved to her new husbands place. He's got a job now too, a good one. He's working at a place that makes seats for foreign cars and they do swing shifts so he rotates from days to evenings to nights. Good money too. I'll get to the trouble with him in a minute.

My youngest daughter turned 18, and is doing good in school. She's a senior you know, this year. She got her tongue pierced for her birthday and she joined the Spanish Club at school. She took Spanish one semester in the past and didn't like it, but joined the Spanish Club for the same reason most of the other kids do - because for some unknown reason the Spanish Club is in charge for all the floats for the Homecoming Parade and other school sponsored events like that. She just wanted to work on the floats. Most people in the Spanish Club don't take or speak Spanish, and it's not about the Spanish language or culture or anything Spanish at all, and I don't know why. I guess at one time it must have been. They also do the decorations for prom and such as well.

My oldest daughter turned 21 yesterday. She went on a brewery tour in Bham and to some places there. She had fun. We went to the liqour store yesterday morning at 1130 (they had to leave at 1230 to meet friends to go to Bham) and got a picture of her buying an airplane bottle of something and being carded and such. The lady who works there knows us and her son is friends with my youngest son. This is the ABC store, not the Arab store where my son used to work. This lady was happy to pose with her and all and my daughter is keeping the little bottle as a keepsake thing from turning legal. She's still in culinary school and still living here with her fiance who is still in college himself.

My oldest son is staying here for the time being. He's trying to get back with his baby mama off and on but she's dating this 19 year old boy who was a friend of my younger son and who is the son of the guy who my suicide friend as seeing and that's pissing my son off a lot. She brings my grandbaby over to stay for a few days at the time, so I get to see her and thats fine with me. I crocheted her a very pretty pink top and skirt set and she loved it. I did that because she was going on about how her other grandmother bought her some shorts and this zebra stripe top so I decided to win that one in the battle of the grandma's lol.

The trouble with the kids is this. My younger son's gf decided out of the blue that when they were all living here last winter that her and my older son got drunk and had sex. So she told my younger son. Rather than throwing her out for cheating on him, he's all on my older son to admit it and she came over here and cried and screamed at him to admit it and he said he would if he had actually done that but for him to be drunk enough to do something that bad to his own brother by sleeping with his girlfriend he would have to be really, really drunk and if he were really, really drunk he wouldn't be able to screw anybody because after about the 6th drink nothing down there works. So, my younger son is all about wanting to come over and kick the s**t out of my older son because he believes it happened, and my older son is ignoring the whole thing because he said it's stupid. The gf said she doesn't remember actually having sex with him, but remembers sitting in the den getting really drunk with him and somebody told her that he was going around saying he did it, so now she thinks she did it. It's ridiculous. She now believes a rumor about herself. I love her to death and she's great for my younger son and has made him grow up a lot but I wish she would realize that didn't happen. I also know it didn't happen because when they were all staying here, I was going through a bunch of s**t myself and I was up all night, online. I was on the other side of a blanket we had hanging up that separated my son's temporary room from the rest of the house, and I would have noticed if they had screwed. There is no other place here they could have done that. It didn't happen.

My best friend:

Her bf went to jail back at the end of July and she had a little nervous breakdown and stayed with me in my younger son's old room. He got out last week and she's moved in with him in one of his friend's houses here he's staying now. He went to jail for old warrants on traffic tickets and had to go to three different jails and to court before three different judges before he got all that cleared up. He was in there a minute. She's doing ok but she brought her own brand of drama here.

The car;

We sold the cougar for scrap and looked for something else. I almost bought one from this county deputy who works during the week at this one garage and auto parts place (the one that ripped me off about my own car a few years back) , but the night before I was gonna buy it things got real sketchy so I told him to forget it. We ended up buying an 03 Cavalier from our mechanic's teenage son. It looks like a piece of s**t because it's black primer and has no front bumper, has no radio, and it just looks like total crap but it runs like a scalded dog and is reliable. It gets my husband to work and back good and he's managing the stick shift well although he hates driving them and isn't very good at it. Personally, I like it. It'll get rubber in three gears but I don't like that clutch it's got on it, however, it's just fine for my husband's purposes with it.

My husband;

He's fine and believe it or not he still has a job with that new, good company. He was staying with his mother and brother when we didn't have a car so his brother could take him to and from work or he could drive the Caddy, but he's home now. He's happy it's football season and that my daughter's boyfriend has this little device that picks up all the ESPN's there are and lets him use. That's about it for him.

Me;

I started going to the tanning bed but stopped because I don't want to walk back up the hill and sweat like that. I could lay out if sweating was what I wanted to do. I got my hair trimmed. I've been crocheting a lot and sewing. That's about it for me.

The retired cop whose dog my husband ran over;

Well. My SIL paid him the three grand he wanted and thats over with but, get this. His doctor put him on some new medicine and he started to go nuts. He came over and tried to beat up and taze my BIL and they called the cops and ambulance on him but the cops didn't do anything and he declined medical care. Then some other neighbors called the cops on him a week or so later because he came over in the middle of the night and broke their window with their flower pot and he left his pistol in their yard. The cops took all his weapons and took him to jail. He bonded out the next day and everybody is waiting to see what happens with him.

My dogs and cats;

The dogs have stopped digging out because of a combination of 1)putting a shedload of barbed wire in the areas they were digging and 2)giving them a Milkbone every time they come in the house after we let them out back. They still try to get out the front though. The cat that tore me up when my son's puppy was trying to play with her has decided to stalk to big white dog of ours. She follows him, watches him, hisses at him, hits at him, every chance she gets. This was my mothers cat btw. Today she took a swipe at him after following him from the bedroom to the kitchen. She as on the table, slapped at him and hissed and he was sick of it. He jumped up, barked, grabbed her around the middle and pinned her to the floor then let her go and barked at her like "Try that again, b***h!'. I wish she would leave him alone, he's never done anything to her, he's always ignored her. He won't hurt her, he would have today if thats what he wanted to do, but he didn't. My oldest son says that when he moves out, he wants to take her with him. I said go ahead.

So, that's whats up with me, and what's been going on with me.

I appreciate everybody's concern, and I'm fine. I don't know if I'm going to be online more often right now or not, like I said, I've been busy with other stuff and it all just depends. Those of you who have my number, feel free to call me when you want to. However, I now have my mother's old phone and if you don't have that number and you want it, message me and I'll give it to you. I don't use the Obamaphone anymore.

(((hugs))) to ya'll for being concerned about me!! !! !! For real, I'm honestly touched.

I dont really know you well but im glad to hear a longtime member is back. I like the sense of order and consistency it imparts to the place. The phrase pillar of the community comes to mind. Also the moment I read y'all in your post I started hearing the rest of the post in a southern American accent XD Makes me laugh something awful :D

I love the southern American accent though most people make fun. I guess its because Texans and the like are always portrayed as Bible thumpers or trailer folk. Shame really because its a nice accent imo.

Anyway! Good to see you're back
