I would consider you closer to a friend than not a friend.

I find some of your political views disagreeable and I feel you sometimes adopt attitudes that are self-defeating. Neither of these make me believe you're a bad person, you're generally a kind and compassionate person even if I also believe at times you defend things that are in conflict with those values I don't believe you're taking that position out of malice.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation with work. Where I work they cancelled most of the summer shutdown and added Saturday shifts as far out as is foreseeable. How will we have the time or energy to bicker? :mrgreen:

Sorry I’m a bit late, I haven’t been on as often recently, but yes, I thought we were still friends, and am happy to continue being so as long as you still want to. I apologize for not jumping in and defending you in the Moderator Attention thread, I hadn’t been keeping up with it when it turned political, but part of the reason I tried to un-de-rail the thread was to stop the political attacks that looked to be starting - I was trying to help in an indirect way. I certainly don’t have anything against you, so if you don’t have anything against me either, we’re good :)

I admit, I disagree with you a lot.
Like I do with probably everyone on WP on occasions.
I'm slow to call people my "friends" even in real life, I've had very bad experiences with this word being abused.
I do care for you as a person.
I wish you find your own way of being content with who you are
