My intention of this thread was to lighten up the atmosphere against different members leaving.

I was not attacking Fnord, Isabella or Sly. That was not my intention.

This is just my sense of humour. Like my slapping thread, some people seemed to think I was wanting to self-harm or hurt myself in a way. Not even close. This type of humour is a release for me, as humour generally is for people.

Make this thread what you like though. :D Feel a bit peculiar about being a Miss Fnord though.

Some subjective opinions on people leaving WP:

• Leaving WP usually occurs without any warning signs -- people are just gone.

• Many people who threaten to leave WP seem to be in an emotional "bad place"; when they feel better, they seem to no longer want to leave WP.

• Once people decide to leave WP, there is nothing you can do to stop them or bring them back.

• People who leave WP and do come back will likely not leave again.

• People who talk incessantly and/or repeatedly about leaving WP may just be trying to get attention and/or manipulate others into being "nice" (e.g., agreeing with them or not openly disagreeing with them).

• People who talk about wanting to leave WP never seem to actually leave -- they always come back, if only to lurk and receive/send PMs.

• Talking about leaving WP may lead to and encourage even more departures from WP.

As usual, your opinions may vary.
