I have to go spend 10 hours in a loud, bright factory like I do every other day. :|

that's horrible to deal with daily... esp since you're autistic, but even if you weren't.

-7. Just got screamed at because a glass fell right on my foot and it started immediately bleeding so I made the mistake of asking another person for help.

Torn in between. Because now I'm observing something;

You see, there was this mobile game I like. It's a story based game.
I can only play it few times a day, once and it's less than 20 mins long for every few hours.
It's been this way for months -- and I tend to wait the whole thing out. And take the every chances seriously AND own every mistakes made because redos are hard to have.

Then I went and took subscription that gives limitless times I get to play the game with. It's the very first time I ever did this.
Something changed. Sure, I get to play without restraint but...
There's the anxiety of 'do them all before it's too late'. After I overcame it, there's nothing for me to look forward to. There's nothing for me to wait for.
There's nothing for me to take seriously because there's infinite redo.
The only 'anxiety' there will be is to play through perfectly -- abd spent my time this way whenever I play the game.

 Did I regret getting the subscription? Not really. But it's an interesting internal to behavioral observation.

There's no real self-respect in being someone else's peon. Every single day it requires swallowing my pride and accepting another day of my life was stolen from me. Only liberating myself from this system will restore a genuine sense of self-respect.

-5 So. Dang. Tired. Of always being So. Dang. Tired.

But at least things are moving along a little - getting a surgical biopsy on Thursday, which should be much more likely than the needle biopsy to tell us what’s going on (assuming the COVID test I’m getting Monday comes back clear - I could have been exposed during one of my many trips to various doctors, but I really don’t think it’s likely. Agree that testing should be done to be sure, but I’ll be astonished if it comes back positive.).

-4. Why is it turning out a lot of famous youtubers have done terrible things in the past? And I just found out yesterday that a youtuber I looked up to thinks that autism is a disease than can be cured by praying. AGGGGGGGGGHHHHH

Today, there was a State Of the Nation Address in my country.

I've yet to listen to it.

if that youtuber prays that autism is eased for those who have it and by society accommodating, and accepting/understanding behaviours (unless inappropriate/harmful in the moment) , good lasting help to ease the inflammation of the brain feeling (i get that, at least, followed by meltdown or shutdown) - a medicine or nutritious beverage ? -
good speech therapy given to those autistics who cannot speak,
help for autistics in deprived situations or countries, escape from abuse,
those would be far wiser ways to look at autism.

john elder robison demonstrated a 'cure' to alleviate the social theory of mind issue in autism, he had electric shock to his brain - it targeted the area of the brain that had to do with social understanding
it worked, lasting for 2 weeks--
and he wrote about it many times and spoke about it at different places (including for a Google Talk).
except it was a double-edged sword because during that time he realized all the times people looked down on him, or were being nasty in a sly way, or that his wife despised him, etc.

that then led to him getting a divorce,
but the woman he married subsequently ...she became his wife's best friend.
