10 ... Note to self: Please don’t EVER let a man tell you that because you’re different, you’re NOT worthy. Take time to properly examine and realise the damage “he” can do to your self esteem, but NEVER allow him to map out the rest of your life, especially if you’ve been successful in what you’ve achieved on every level ... and own your own home, have a family and know what it means to truly love someone!

6. A lot of trivial stresses stew in my subconscious that I can't get rid of despite my efforts, though slowly but surely, I'm heading towards better circumstances.

The progress is slow, but hope when I reach my set goal, it will be worthwhile.

It's one of those times where how I feel right now is, "It depends, pick a thing and I'll tell you how I feel about that thing."

About the effects of what causes my disability, -9
:(
About what I accomplished yesterday, +11
:D

About Mom & Dad calling Friday and saying for me to call Hometown Homecare to hire someone to drive me the 100 miles to visit them next month, +10 :D
Mom's birthday, my birthday, Father's Day, are all clustered together in June.

About Shannon from HH calling this morning to say she got my message and will schedule, +10

About my parents turning 81 this year and still being here, +10

About my parents being 80 something and disabled, -10

About my me being 50 something and disabled, -10

About me having a nice enough place to live, and my 2 fuzzy orange feline fellows, +10

About the distance between here and my parents being too far for any of us to drive ourselves any more, -10

About the great folks at Hometown Homecare, +10.

About how my health gets in the way of going places and doing things like my hobbies, -10

About someone with all the specific health problems I have still being able to do those hobbies to any degree at all, +10

About how our little midwestern county seat farm burg even has a model railroad club and a creative writers group, +11 :D

About that my Social Security Disability income is just a hair below the poverty level for a household of 1 as determined by the US Department of Health and Human Services, -11.

About that the disability income even exists at all, +11 :D

And as that one fellow on a BBC show titled "Connections" several times said,
"And so, there you have it."
:D
