Dear media,
if you're going to do a news report on autism, THEN TELL THE WHOLE STORY!
DON'T just show us low-funtioning autistics having tantrums and attacking themselves and their parents, and don't you dare show their parents crying and saying stuff like "she's gone forever!" or "it's like a monster snuck into his room and snatched him away!", show everyone the positive aspects of it, show some high-funtioning autistics, and remind everyone that the likes of Albert Einstein and Sir Isaac Newton were possibly on the spectrum! Then maybe people like us might get a single iota of respect!
