I've never actually been to an airport or flew in a plane. I probably never will get the chance because my life is just so boring and uneventful. I can't even drive and I've never learned how to take a city bus. When I move back home there won't be any bus transportation though.

It's not something I'm proud of but I actually have attempted suicide twice in the past, and sometimes I get so angry and depressed about life that all I can think about is wanting to die. I'm not religous but I wonder if suicide really is an unforgivable sin?

the only reason I no longer try or even think about offing myself, is my sincere belief that if I succeeded, i'll only have to come back down here in worse circumstances than the ones I prematurely fled the first time. so I might as well tough it out and get this lifetime's lesson's done and OVERWITH so I don't have to mess with them anymore. worldly religions discourage suicide, at heart, mainly for this one reason. get this life completed proper and overwith, and don't worry about it again.

Maybe it would be better if somebody else actually killed me then. Like if I was in a war and got shot for refusing to partake in killing people or something.

after my army time, I moved back home to be my late parents' caretaker as they were infirm by then. a boring life beats the burlap outta one with unwanted excitement/worry/fear [my own]. I would have turned out way differently had I the option of a boring life. no bus transit out in the sticks where I live.

you don't want that, as the death visited upon us by a nasty psychopathic type or hapless soldier of a hostile power, is generally gonna be painful and protracted. only professional hitmen are efficient at this type of thing. human bodies are surprisingly tough things in terms of resisting death. one is far more likely to be painfully maimed and alive for decades after the fact. no, avoid violence in all forms as best as one can. never volunteer to be a target. here is a clever little ditty written by a clever but very unhappy person named Dorothy Parker-

Resumé
[dorothy parker]
Razors pain you;
Rivers are damp;
Acids stain you;
And drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren't lawful;
Nooses give;
Gas smells awful;
You might as well live.

If I was ever drafted and forced to fight in a war they would either have to execute me or lock me away because I would not be able to handle it. I know wars can be very horrifying and I could never be part of one without loosing my sanity.

I have a gut feeling things are going to get really bad in the future soon and there might be another major war that breaks out.

in the peacetime army I somehow stumbled my way through it but if the balloon had gone up i'd have been toast as quickly as the unfortunates who were part of McNamara's 100,000. google it, very sad story. things in amuurica and elsewhere are on a downward trend, yes. the end times of the world as we know it now.

all airport security is overkill.

There was more security at the Elton John concerts I attended in Ottawa and Montreal than at two international airports on my travels. I was shocked how lame the airports were. The concerts had an hour long queue to go through metal detectors and have all bags checked. Some people were patted down and there were police / security everywhere.

I strongly consider suicide because all I am is a burden, to my parents now, to society if I manage to get on disability and get a place of my own at some point - I have nothing to give in return, and I've gotten little to no joy out of life in over a decade. I'd just keep going on if I weren't such a burden - it's really for other people that I think it would be best, not for me. Because of my parents' emotional attachment to me, I've decided I won't do it as long as they're here - but if I'm still alive when they aren't, then I can do it.

They have a emotional attachment to you because you’re worth it.

You know, eventually there will be no life on Earth and we will become a lifeless planet.

If ghosts actually exist I wonder if they will continue to haunt Earth even after all life is gone?
