I'm tired of fighting...fighting to achieve a job, fighting for my mental health, fighting to reach expectations, fighting to fit in...I'm just tired of it all. I just want to go lay in my bed and whither away into nothing. People keep saying "things will get better" and "you have to push yourself" but, what if you are just so drained that you can't do either even if things were better? I'm just...tired of life in general. Too fast paced too competitive. I can't keep up.

I feel an 8, kind of hyper from coffee so maybe actually a 7, lol. I fell asleep really early in the night and woke up around 2.30 and my back actually doesen't hurt which is the first time in a couple weeks (I have scoliosis). I have managed to clean my fridge that has been a long time coming and done some serious organizing (this has been my project for the past week to clean my cupboards out of crap to have some more head space). Soon I will take a much needed shower and then go take some of the things I cleaned to my local librarys free swap-shelf. I am sure to crash around noon so got to appreciate this moment, especially since its lovely and chilly finally today after a long annoying heatwave so walking outside will finally be actually refreshing and nice instead of sweaty and yucky.

Dragon hugs

I don’t have any good advice, but I’ll give you lots of hugs anyway.

Guessing ur in recovery too. I wonder what the crossover with being on the spectrum and different sort of addicts is?
I actually nominally run one neurodiverse OA meeting, but haven't actually looked much in the other fellowships I'm in.

Hey, I'm Drew,

and I'm about a 6/10 I think.
or 2 on -10 to +10 scale.

I got hearing aids recently, and I didn't really take into account how they might affect me on a sensory level.

It kind of turned me into a kind of Autistic Anemone and went into a long extended burnout I couldn't understand.

It was exacerbated because I've literally been jacking noise into head for months, not just alerts and phonecalls, but I started playing audiobooks via them basically nonstop all day!

I'm hoping coming to this realisation might help, but only been a day or so since I worked that out I was totally overloading myself.

I used to have different sorts of mindfulness breaks during the day, but not with audiobooks running nonstop.

earlier this week, I have been at about a 3-4/10 for the last few months

-2 My fiancée isn’t replying to me probably because I didn’t tell her I love her. But she’s being mean by :x  ignoring me and that hurts my feelings (sorry if I sound pathetic.)

3. I had coffee again today. I wouldn't have had the coffee if my friend would have just apologized for pressing some hot buttons of mine last Sunday. I'd be drinking a lot more coffee if I was living with my parents.

Physically: -5

I literally can't stop coughing.
It's non-stop, to the point I might have to barf up a lung.
I'm coughing so much that I gag and my ribs hurt.

I think I must have bronchitis or pneumonia.
Five of us have Covid now, and no one else has coughed like this.
No one else has coughed at all, come to think of it.

Emotionally: Somewhere between nostalgic and wistful.

Perhaps it would be +3.

Oh, sorry to hear!

You probably have heard before, but despite what may be your urge, don't try and push yourself through it, more likely to have longer after issues, long covid or worse...

I pushed myself through Mono 16 years ago... and still compromised today, ugh.

Post-viral syndrome or M.E. etc is a bad way to go, trust me!

I just got over a month-long Non-COVID cough myself.

I'm just above zero.

I don’t get 10 seconds of rest between lengthy coughing fits. I can barely catch my breath in between.

-6 now bc I can’t sleep
