Moths!
I hated them when I was a kid- we had camping holidays in France where the shower blocks were full of huge panicked moths blundering into people. It took me a while to see that from the moths' point of view.
I now work as a cleaner, and I'm very interested in zoology. Including the zoology of things with "too many legs." People at work are very careless about leaving windows open, so quite often I have to rescue moths. I've found some fantastic ones: a huge triangular Lime Hawkmoth; a Poplar Hawkmoth that looked like two crumpled-up dead leaves; a Large Emerald that looked like a little strawberry plant was growing on the wall. Right now there's a boom in ditzy Large Yellow Underwings. As insects go, they've got an understated beauty, and they're often endearingly dozy when I catch them.
So, when I'm out sweeping floors and cleaning toilets, a good moth can really make my day.
