Its the tendon that pulls the finger back by itself. The doctor said I would never be able to point with it. But it turns out I can
My coworker did a test in which he put
fingers on the back of my left and right hand index fingers as I tried to point them. He said the right was much weaker than the left. I've had phantom mild pain in the finger but other than that I seem to have normal use of it.

Do your GP's have small "family practices" or is it mostly large medical clinics?
I went to a GP last in 1996. He mailed me a letter explaining there was no future in independent GP and was moving to another city to work at a large clinic.
Not sure on current cost. The old cost were reasonable but most doctors were not as
nice as my old doctor.
