What he's saying is that people much, much uglier than you, and who have no education, jobs, or even a license, get in relationships.

You're not ugly, you have a license, you've been to college. You ain't that bad, objectively.

You're a pain in the tuchus when it comes to guns and such---but many people are, men and woman.

Thos people are probably very outgoing and dominate and push themselves into relationships or pick drunk women up at bars.

What kind of girl do you think likes these sorts of guys? Probably the type of girls who are at least somewhat troubled. They wouldn't be suitable for you.

Chicks in their 30's like nice guys (but not "nice" [trademark] guys).

They want a man who is patient with them in matters of lovemaking. They don't want some guy who just does the "wham bam, thank you ma'am" routine.

There are two people in my circle who are messed up with a capital "M". One has been married once and has been in two serious relationships and has a child. The other is completely screwed up: unstable job, obsessed with living in a fantasy world, acts like a child, declared bankruptcy twice, lives in the projects and was still married for about 5 years.
