I think there is a general view that sex is about competition, like if a guy slept with loads of girls he must be a proper alpha male. So people (especially guys) often make out that there more successful and dominant than they actually are, and they often do this with innuendo. If you add to that the fact that a lot of people (especially girls) are to some extent ashamed of their sexual desires then you end up with a situation with a lot of people talking a lot of sh**.

I agree that it's pretty stupid and I like to think that I manage to be pretty honest about these sort of things but a lot of people don't feel that way.

That's exactly what I'm talking about! Guys constantly make these stupid references to sex but are never honest/serious about it. It's all a game.

Lol, cause sex is such a serious subject isn't it? Life or death? Its sacrid and shall not be spoken about on these shores. Geeeshh, no wonder so many young people feel under so much pressure to lose their virginity. And are terrified of having sex. If its gonna happen, it should either be in a comfortable situation or a passionate one.
