Death of a loved one

Major illness
Getting fired from a job
Retirement

559. Slaughter and eat a wild turkey on a cold (and I mean COLD) winter's night.

Bazza, you're lucky. You've just finished winter and have a nice spring to look forward to. And winters in Australia probably aren't that bad. Try dealing with single-digit (Fahrenheit) temperatures for ten days straight.

560. Hunt the closing weekend of duck season with a canadian, so you can't complain about the cold when its 35F.

BTW - I don't like summer - have you had weeks of >100F temperatures and a complexion that means you get 3rd degree sunburn in about 4 minutes?

Actually, yes. I don't like either extreme. I'd much rather take sunshine and 70 degrees like it's been the past couple of days.

561. Convert your towns average monthly temperatures into celsius for a shock. (The average high for me in January is -1C. Brrrrr.)

563.
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Batman smells, Robin laid an egg.
The batmobile lost a wheel,
and the Joker got away, hey!
