I like to believe that even animals and plants have souls. :D

the Persian mystic Rumi wrote these transcendent words of comfort-

I died as a mineral and became a plant;
I died as a plant and rose to animal;
I died as animal and I was a man.
Why should I fear? When was I less by dying?
Yet once more I shall die as man to soar
With angels blest. Yet even from an angel
I must pass on; All except God must perish.
When I have sacrificed my angel soul,
I shall become what no mind ever conceived
.

Speaking of angels, I bet you would love that show Touched By An Angel

It's actually very well-written for a religous show and it doesn't feel cheesy at all. A lot of the episodes deal with very sad and complicated situations but the "angels" in the show (the main characters) are always sent to try and work things out and convince certain people to redeem themselves in the end. :)

My favorite episode was the one I sent you the clip of about the man on death row. 8)

And believe me I don't normally like shows like that. :lol:

I watched it when I was able, as well as "highway to heaven."

I heard that one was good too. If it's as good as TBAA I might check it out while it's on Netflix. :)

And that morbid art is from the "Scary Stories to Tell In The Dark" books that I loved as a child. To think that those were children's books lol. :skull:

Maybe one day I'll try and buy them for my neice? I just hope her mom approves lol.

I read one of those books when I was a kid too. :mrgreen:

I really like my brother's girlfriend a lot but she's a bit conservative and I hope she doesn't raise my neice to be too girly. It would be nice to have somebody who likes horror movies and will watch them with me and things like that. :D

But I know I need to let her grow up and become her iwn person. :wink:

I like horror and death and if you looked at me you definitely wouldn't think I would like it. I'm a very morbid girl. Lol

This doesn't really look like a guy who loves things that are dark and morbid. I look like one of those hipsters. :lol:

Oh me too. I find death and the after life very interesting, not in a morbid way though. I like to think of my loved ones who have passed up in Heaven smiling down on me and waiting for me to see them again one day. I used to attend church on Sunday because that's how I was brought up, but I'm struggling to cope in public environments so haven't gone the last two months.

I also like plenty of things that aren't about morbid horror like art and Asian culture. Also I love humor. I enjoy a good laugh. :D
