Dear you,

I hear you calling from the other side.

That sound makes me want to hide.

I feel the ground crack and break as my reality starts to shake.

The call grows louder as intrusive thoughts begin to fester. You forever pester. From below, from up high, at my sides. Surrounding me gradually.

The time is frozen yet somehow spinning forward and backwards frantically.

You stand there, a cold smile spreading across your face. Looking down on me with plenty disgrace. I slowly glance up, terrified. You greet meet like an old friend but fear creeps in. Discomfort. Unease. You, stood there like a knowing cold breeze.

Dear you,

I spent a day pondering if I should write you back. But I let you go silently.

There is a lot I saw wrong with what you wrote, and I would have kept trying to explain what you get wrong.

The way you latch onto people you just met will not lead to healthy relationships. You should try more people until you find one who likes you for who you are, someone who you have things in common with.

Throughout our conversation I felt you don't really care to hear what I say, so I didn't write you back this time. You left, I let you go.

Bye.

Me.

Dear whoever invented eco-friendly tumble dryers with automatic sensors which make the machine shut off and insist your clothes are dry - when they're still damp, smelly, and covered in mildew - and which won't restart because they can tell it's the same pile of damp mildewy clothes ... so you have to wet something else and stick it in just for fun to spread the smell -

PLEASE DON'T MAKE THOSE ANYMORE.

My clothes have been in for about eight hours and they're still damp, and it's costing me a bleeding fortune in electric, and we aren't allowed to hang stuff outside like normal people or we'll get sued.

How is this good for the environment, you stupid morons?

Also, Dear whoever invented dishwashers that run for 2.5 hours at reduced energy because apparently that's more eco-friendly than running for 30 minutes at regular energy, even though they shut off with a "power failure" just before the rinse cycle because they overheat from being on 2.5 hours and then you have to wait for it to cool down and put it on for another 2.5 hours to get the soap off so you don't poison your pets - making you cross your fingers and hope for the best (sometimes requiring three rounds ...) (or four ...) (another all-day affair) --- (sometimes getting so hot that things melt inside and almost cause fires, costing $800 per repair) -

How about you invent something logical that works, instead?

Are you shagging the CEO of the electric company?

Ma,

As much as you're so enthusiastic about your second daughter coming home, it's pointless as long as that shiiiter of sofas and flooring lives under the same room.

And I will never help you clean it's mess. If I ever step of it's feces, I won't help you 'stop'. YOU clean it up. IT ain't my responsibility.

You should've never, ever get a pet.
If I happened to 'save' that pest from any disaster, I won't let it return to anywhere I'm dwelling.

 If only I have a real option of moving out of the household just to never deal with that damn thing every fricking morning...

But such ultimatums on such petty shite situation would be so stupid and I ain't going to let the damn it decide where I go.

Moved again and found some pictures and letters from you that I have kept all these years. I had forgotten how much thought and creativity you put into every gift and handmade card. Thank-you.

Miss you and who I was when we were together. Staring up at the ceiling together in that ratty little apartment, walking in the snow, seeing you off at the train station that last time, not knowing I'd never see you again. The way you'd always laugh at your own jokes. Time at the gardens. Your way of looking for (and finding) the magic and absurdity in everyday life. It's been a long time.

Hope you've kept your wits about you these last few years that the world's been on fire and that you finally made it up north.

I still flit here to vent random troubles
I hate that I feel guarded from judgement or worse
F#ck you, I am messy, illogical, and immoral
I've had to deal, so f#ck the world

Dear friend,

I dont know why you are still my friend but thank you regardless. I sometimes think you have a ulterior motive, or you just admire my family. When ever you praise me i am cackling inside. It feels like you don't know much about me at all. But i am still glad you are my friend that i can rely on. I cant ask more understanding from you
