my dad way back in the 40s was an undertaker's apprentice, and he could tell you some stories.....
My partner used to work at the cemetery and one day when I was out there he pointed out the meat ants, coming out of the holes they'd made down into the freshly dug graves, carrying little chunks of "meat".
The image has never left me.
I'd never thought about being carried off like that after death.
