If you need someone to rant to, WP is always open. :D

That's why I made a thread here instead of ranting on facebook about it. I don't want my friends to think bad of me. Also my family sees my posts and they "worry" about me. D:

Eh? You shouldn't worry about talking about that to your friends, as far as I know, that's one of their uses. D:

I guess. I know that if I started talking about it to my friends, I would start bawling and I hate crying in front of people. I don't like being seen as a typical weak girl so I bottle it up and b***h over the internet.

It takes strength to cry in front of people, if anything, you'd be strong by doing that. :\

Crying isn't weakness. And what you're doing isn't bitching, it's getting things off your chest. Which is quite healthy.

Yeah but I hear some of my friends talk smack about other girls who, "do nothing but b***h, b***h, b***h. Life sucks for everyone, get over it." And I don't want them to say that stuff about me. >.<

But they only do that stuff to girls they aren't friends with. Maybe they'd let me b***h but I don't know. I don't wanna be a downer on them. :(

Well, I'm sure you wouldn't be. I mean, everyone has to rant sometime. It's not healthy to bottle it up. Even they've probably done it at some point.

They can't blame you for doing that.

Ok, you need to hear this, so listen up. *STOP* TELLING YOURSELF *I CAN'T*! !! !! ! As long as you keep telling yourself "I can't", guess what, you won't. Look into SSI. Apply for every job you can think of that's far away. DO IT! It took me until my 30s to learn what I'm telling you now. You need to start telling yourself "I WILL", even if it feels fake at first. You need to take a sledgehammer and shatter your comfort zone, girl! Tell yourself, I will move out, I will get away from my controlling mom, I will find a boyfriend who will make me melt into his arms, I will stop the drama. NOBODY likes clingy and needy. It won't happen until YOU MAKE IT!

Tell you what, go to Google, and enter in the following: The Science of Getting Rich Wallace Wattles. That will lead you to a FREE download. The Science of Getting Rich was written by a guy who failed at everything he tried. I mean everything. He finally decided he was gonna find out how to get rich. He found that it's all about ATTITUDE, and saying I WILL. It works for ANYTHING, not just making a lot of money. You need to read that, and read As You Think by James Allen. Then DO IT! NO MORE EXCUSES! You NEED to listen this time.

Look over the last five pages of this thread. All it is is advice from us, and EXCUSES from YOU! As long as you make excuses, guess what, your life will never change. You don't want that, do you? You have a LOT to offer. You are a wonderful person, but until YOU START TELLING YOURSELF "Erisad, you are a wonderful person who deserves better!" you will never get what you want. You need to go to Vitacost and order some iron. You need to eat more than just chicken and oatmeal. You need to stop relying on the booze as a crutch. But it won't happen until YOU MAKE IT! Now get out there and do it!

I'm late to this topic so I'm kinda lost, I read all 6 pages but it's a little too much for me to absorb at once. Anyways Megan, yes a size 18 is a bit big, muffins do look good at the bakery (or Dunkin Doughnuts) but a little bit of it isn't the end of the world. As a skinny mofo I have to say I have problems keeping my pants around my waist...they always want to hike up past my belly button. I like that you're for the most part doing well without anti-depressants and as I've said before I believe that what you need to come down from the extra weight is just some strenuous exercise, not to say whatever workouts you're doing are useless but exercise works on a simple equation (time*effort=results) on a scale of 1-10 if you put in a 10 on time and a 1 on effort you get a "results" value of 10. Even going to a 4 on effort and a 4 on time gets you over 50% better results in theory based on my equation. So maximize your effort so you can have more time, add back the time if you need better results..

If I missed some things that I haven't talked to you about (you know I thought your boyfriend was a wimp lol) and you'd like my advice you know my aim and how to private message me on here and for you I'm always glad to help.

I'm NOT trying to be offensive here Erisad but I noticed a lot of the post are saying your ex was wrong because he's a mamas boy but your mamas girl yourself. I think you need to try working on breaking free on your controlling parents or you might could end up having your parents sabotaging things in your life as well. Perhaps you could try showing your mom your responsible. Suggest going to a driving instructor instead of having your mom teach you. Driving would help you gain some independence but not being able to drive is not the end of the world either
