Do you know the details or are you just assuming because you like to make people feel bad?
Do you feel nice and in control now you've mocked someone, over the internet.

I'm with emlion here. I turned against some life long interests over someone on the Internet, in spite of that person one time, because I was angry. It only took two and a half years for me to heal.

I'm moving this thread to the Haven - I don't want to lock it since I think the OP needs support right now. If anybody keeps attacking him in the Haven they'll have to deal with the consequences. Do I make myself clear?

I'll baby whomever I damn well feel like 'babying' - in my case I consider it 'supporting'. Why are you so hell bent on 'toughening him up"? You don't think he's had enough real people in his life attack him like that so you need to make sure he knows he's not safe here either? Your needs are not everyone elses needs. No one here is in a position to judge anyone else.

Seriously, I really think you should use an image of Plank as your avatar. It would be awesome.

Oh hell. I changed wedding plans because I made the mistake of posting it publicly on my livejournal. My husband and I were considering a campy fun wedding with a pirate theme. It would've cost a bit and taken some planning but it would've been a fun party to have with our friends. My livejournal post was plucked by a former friend / former maid of honor (long story there) and she posted it on a wedding snark community and I was harassed for a couple months because my plans weren't "elegant" and "sophisticated" enough for a wedding. Total bull. But the experience really ruined the whole concept for me because then I associated making those plans with the crap I went through.

It's stupid and I should've been able to overlook it and let it slide off my back... but I couldn't. So we ended up having a pretty humble and inexpensive - but still very fun - wedding instead... that I NEVER talked about on my livejournal! And, understand, I've been doing this internet thing since 1993/1994. I know every dumb, trollish, spiteful thing that an internet stranger can do to another person. A lot of it does not bother me. But sometimes things do bother me... and what happened to me was enough to make me change plans for one of the really important days in my life... that didn't even need anyone's approval at all.

So people just have to be nice and knock off the crap.

You should keep the Creedon stuff going, I actually kinda enjoy reading it, which you COULD put in a blog? After all everyone should be free to express themselves.

Unfortunately people may disagree with your interests, but don't let it get to you. Be the Creedon General that you're well known for. :)

A blog is a good idea - that way you can easily delete obvious troll posts.

Anyway Ackman you're in good company, some of my favourite writers/artists like William Blake and HP Lovecraft created their own personal imaginary worlds and mythos regardless of whether other people 'got it' or not, and in fact Blake had very little recognition in his own lifetime. Do it for yourself because you love doing it.

That's your opinion and you are free to express it. Keep in mind that your methods are not universal and don't work for everybody. Even if Ackman would need to "toughen up", it's not your choice but his. I'll assume you only want what's best for him but again you have no way of really knowing what that is.

Corsets Rule Ackman!

Creedonia had corsets?! If the men wore them too I just might start a revival campaign here and now. It sounds awesome!

Men in corsets sounds bit kinky but fascinating none-the-less. Yes, Creedonia has corsets (for women) and Ackman is an expert on them. A corset saved my daughter from being paralyzed when she was in a car wreck and almost died. So for me and Ackman Corsets Rule!
