What made me mad was the comment where you "called B.S." on my assertions about bipolar. I felt disrespected because you used that specific phrase: B.S. It implies that I am bullshitting, which, to me, means that you think I am somehow being disingenuous or that you think my opinions are not even worth considering. That term (B.S.) conveyed a certain level of contempt which I felt was unwarranted. Don't talk to me like that.
I said I call BS which maybe wasn't the best choice of words, but I didn't mean it all that seriously....guess it can seem harsher to some people than I meant to be to me it means I do not think the claim is true not that I have any contempt for the person who puts it forth I can see how it came off that way....but what I said in the last post was the point I was trying to make. Sorry if I came off as disrespectful of people who have the condition or anything else as that was certainly not my intent.
However considering I've had to live with Major Depression, GAD and PTSD on top of my aspergers for many years...have actually done research about mental illness, have taken college courses and have been in therapy and trying meds for those mental illnesses....yes I do think I know a thing or two about mental illness. So I disagree with your implication I don't know anything about mental illness as it is entirely inaccurate...maybe you mean I don't know much about bi-polar disorder specifically which is true.
