ASS-P, you are not a sane person. You should have stayed in the psychiatric hospital that you were committed to or at least been transferred to one that didn't abuse you. This thing we call "life"... and how to live it... you just can not handle.

A hospital is the BEST place for you to be... yet, you think it's the worst place. You are deluded and incompetent to understand what is right for you. The best thing anyone could do is take you away under force.

No... I don't care enough about you to do that or anything else for you... but that is the BEST thing someone could do for you. Anyone who KNOWS what his life is like, will know that. Let's not BS.

You were just given advice about the Golden Gate Regional Center and completely ignored it. THAT is why people do not want to help you. THAT is why. It's not "mean Tobes"... no. It's the way you act. You live in a fantasy world but in the real world, you are dying a slow death for a complete fantasy that you call "freedom."

University costs $5000, just to live in a dorm and audit a class for a semester. I suppose you'll just find that money on a tree, huh? There is no way in hell, unless someone takes complete and utter pity on you, that you will ever attend University. Ever. Not only that, people would not play with you in the quadrangle unless, again, they took complete pity on you.

That is not a post that should be reported. It's the blatant truth by someone who knows him well enough to know what's best for him.

If you report that post, then you should report the one by ASS-P some posts above where he told me and some other people to F off and that we're evil, etc.

By the way, any updates about getting him to Nashville? I didn't think so.

You do make a good point, though. If you can't say something nice, don't say it. I feel sorry for any future posters who haven't yet learned the lesson that this man can't be helped.

hospital . I am in a regular , medical , one . I was tempted to say where I am , but I will not . I did , however , say something that hints at where I am , if you know something about San Francisco .

No one is a saint on the streets, I don't doubt people have tried to help you. Thus my comment about homeless people with problems, make a plan each day and execute it to the best of your ability.

I wish ASS-P could find an SRO-type situation with medical care nearby. That takes maybe half his SSDI money as rent.

ASS-P, although I don't feel there is anything at all I can do to help you, I certainly don't feel you should jump off a bridge or anything similar. You are as entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as any of us is.

Frankly , too , we in the past have gone our own seperate ways , with IIRC you coming up wiith a : I wash my hands of you : disparagement of me which I suppose was more polite than the other disparagements earlier in this line...Then , though with a bit of a hiccup , we went our seperate ways on this board .

Ignore Tobes and people like Tobes and try and get your stuff together. I would stop buying the same things and try and get into some level of housing, make due with what you can get from shelters. Remember that rather you are homeless having problems, rather your in housing having problems, rather your in college having problems. There will always be that person that will focus on the problems more than the person.

And also Tobes really doesn't have a freaking clue how the mental health system even works in America,

What he thinks is going to happen after you get "committed" is beyond me, America doesn't have asylums, we closed them. There are very few places that would hold you for longer then 30 days. They take you in and babysit basically so they can collect insurance and throw you out the door.

A psychiatric hospital is not going to solve your housing issue.
