Update: Today, I’ve just found out that she had an assessment to see if going to rehab would be the right place for her, she has after all made tremendous improvements beyond belief. If she is eligible, she would be moving to Kent and it would be a whole lot harder to visit. Makes me so anxious not knowing where exactly in Kent. The thing I’m certainly not looking forwards to is the drive there and back. Don’t do too well with long journeys.

Either way, I’m happy that she’s got given good care (and somewhat spoilt rotten  ). Will still continue this journey and making sure to be there for her through thick and thin.

Thanks for the update, Ian. So good that she’s progressing so well!

Totally understand that driving to Kent would be daunting. Went through that myself when a family member was moved to a hospital 2 hrs drive away for specialist care. Hope you cope okay. I understand you’re going through alot with work. Hugs to you both. Wonderful hearing how well Blint’s doing, and you’re doing an amazing job supporting her and cheering her on.

Massive thank you, trying to cope ok so far. I’m off to see her again tomorrow morning, although it has recently pulled a bit of a toll on me recently.
