Okay, yeah this is my 3rd post in this thread, but how do we know this really happened? Someone said she had problems at home, and was emotionally abused. Could it possibly be that someone from her family hijacked her accounts, changed her passwords, and told some people on WP that she was dead?

I've never been any good at this sort of speech honestly, but then again death is near an easy event for anyone. Like any action it has repercussions we can only begin to imagine.

I didn't really know her towards the end of her life, we talked a long time ago but back then I knew her as decent person. A bit Bohemian and full of life, she'll be sorely missed.

For some reason this song reminds me of her now so I dedicate it to her memory

Don't forget Space Case or KBABZ, either. If I remember, they loved her, too. If you know any of them fairly well please keep an eye on them, too. We don't want to suicide thing to domino any farther.

When I joined WP, from the start Starbuline was one of my favorite people to talk to on the forums. She was always sweet, she was quite a character, and sometimes funny, too. When I was forced by circumstance to leave WP for 4 months when I came back I was looking to see how many names I remembered. She was the first one I noticed that was absent. I think she was banned about 2 days before I returned. WP isn't the same without her. This saddens me very deeply even though I didn't know her all that well. I knew her well enough to know that she did not deserve all the s**t she was going through. I just hope things are better for her now.

Starbuline, if you're reading this somewhere. I give you my regards.

I appreciate your wishful thinking. I hope this is the case, but I doubt it.

I have one, too, even though I didn't know her very well. It has been running through my head ever since I found out, so I'd like to share it, even though it might not have been her taste in music. I hope her friends will forgive me that.

sucks :(
I was going to write more,
but I am conflicted, because I can't
write anything that does not sound
depressing.
I feel very gloomy.

(What a tragedy...)

I honestly didn't have much to do with her, but it is sad she's gone. :(

Maybe she wasn't my best friend, but this bad new really hurt me, and I can't processing it!

She was a very active member on this forum, how can I forget her Russia obsession and the Marilyn Manson's birthday celebration?

RIP Sophie :(

I knew Sophie through MSN for a few months. She's the person who challenged me to take cough medicine so I could get through the social days unscathed. She gave me a list of various kinds that would best do the trick.

And you know what?

It worked.

I used to watch her on webcam. She'd just sit there, not doing anything especially interesting, but I was somehow enthralled. My one present to her was a collage of webcam images in which she looked most beautiful.

Unfortunately . . . I don't have that collage on my computer. Maybe it's on Photobucket somewhere; might try to find it and post in later in her honor.

Even though she and I had a falling out, this girl left an impression on me. She was my friend. I loved her. Still do.

Rest peacefully, Sophie. Just when I thought I couldn't feel anymore, you came along one last time to remind me that I could. I feel sadness, regret, disturbance...

I have read old posts that included her.
While my knowledge of her is only historical, I am sad she took her life.

What I feel mostly right now though is sadness for those of you who feel like you knew her well.

Sophie was 1 of the first names I recognized here on WP, she was quite active and I always enjoyed reading her posts. I think we actually had a discussion in the love and dating room once about what we wanted in a future relationship (if my memory serves me correctly) and she typed some response to me, something I never even thought of,indeed, she was quite uneque, and theirfore had a uneque perspective, she let me realize I was not looking at the issue from all angles, i very much enjoyed and will miss her perspective on things, she was a very important part of WP.

I'd like to know more about Starbuline. Moreover, what caused her demise?

This isn't the thread to discuss the cause of her departure, it is about remembering her when she was here with us.

Re: a couple posts up.

This thread is not going to be used for discussing disagreements and anger between members of the online AS community.

I hope we can agree that this is not the place for that kind of thing, out of respect for her if nothing else.

She didnt want to be remebered here. This whole thread should be removed and any others containing details about her.

And how will those who truly cared for her be able to express their feelings publicly?
Mortuis nil nisi bonum, and leave the rest out of it.
