They are incredibly homophobic.

I feel really sorry for B cos he had no outlet and he was incredibly camp and he never acted camp when I knew him well. He dressed smartly, was a good artist but none of the flamboyancy you'd associate with art. And also, he would never admit any crushes at all of either sex or any gender.

It's the same on that site. Anything which seems gay is looked down on and treated badly. I dunno why? Is it bible bashing or?

Elsewhere on the site where they're not, but elsewhere which is relevant...

No, I'm not talking about those ads "From Around the Web" that appear at the bottom of a webpage (i.e., "Number 3 Will Shock You!"). I'm talking about the regular smiling faces on the local news interspersing the real news with those filler fluff pieces that are actually commercials for some business, product, or service. The ABC network is notorious for this -- hardly a day goes by (here in southern California) when the local ABC affiliate doesn't have some happy-clappy piece on that overgrown amusement park in Anaheim.

I tune in the news to get the news. If I want advertisements, I'll subscribe to a newspaper.

Yet another sh***y evening of internet instead of books and reading. When will I learn?

Someone is having a go at me for liking corrie. She's American but it's a mixed site and she's pretending her mom watches it every night.

Getting thumbs down for fancying attractive guys who they know what they look like.

Nobody is complimenting me.

Nobody thinks anything I have to say is intelligent or insightful or even just funny or agreeable to them.

Why do I try to do this to myself?

If somebody is "having a go" at you for "liking Corrie", just ignore the person. It's obvious the person doesn't have a life.

People who believe the Internet reflects "real life" really have a distorted view of "real life," in my opinion.
