I've clawed my way back up to a -10. And it feels good; there's nowhere to go but up. I've always loved to climb...
Systems Status Report (T+ 4D):
The backup regenerative repair system has been hooked into the system mains, and appears to be online, though it has flaked out a couple of times by losing its repair directives. I was having some trouble powering it up, but I found a spare energy cell that still has a partial charge; as was finding the errant backup system, finding the power cell was a bit of a surprise; interesting. I've got the backup RRS working on restoring primary power; after that, I'll set it to work rebuilding the primary regenerative repair systems so that they can get to work on general repairs. It will be slow going, but I maintain hope that the process will succeed. Damage assessment became stalled at 73%; the stall seems to be caused by a few particular clusters in the core engram storage system; I'll need to bypass and quarantine the corrupted engrams before I can proceed with the assessment, but I won't be able to do that until primary power is restored. In the part of the damage assessment that was completed, I learned that several primary systems have been damaged beyond repair, but I did discover that core creative and analytical systems are largely intact. These systems are vital, for without them I will be unable to restore the damaged ethical containment routines, nor will I be able to access or control any of the human interactive constructs, which are vital for communicating with humans. It will be tricky, a gamble, to access the creative systems without the containment routines in place, for they are very volatile; but at this juncture, I see no other way to proceed. A large portion of auxiliary power continues to be dedicated to holding the emergency quarantine in place around the more dangerous subsystems; the quarantine has faulted a few times, but is continuing to hold in general; I’ll assign significant priority to bringing the point defense system back online to assist with any further quarantine faults. However, dedication of so much auxiliary power to the quarantine is slowing down repair of other systems. Overall things proceed, but at a crawl.
End Systems Status Report.
