I disagree. An esteemed psychologist said that a long term relationship is the panacea for mental health problems. If Sly found a girlfriend it could change his outlook and allow him to love life. For this reason I think he should not give up. It could change his life for the better.

Finding love can improve the quality of anybody's life but it ain't a panacea. Expecting another person to prop you up, provide you with confidence and self-esteem, however, is unrealistic and unreasonable.

The Manic Pixie Dream Girl's a myth.

^Are you sure? In extreme cases, two people can become each other's Living Emotional Crutch. It's true.
Hear hear, Link Gamer! [Do you like your nickname?]

Overall, it's usually better for one's self-esteem to feel like there's potential to obtain a partner.

Yes, two people could become each other's emotional crutch--not extreme at all.

^I agree, Kraftie!
Ah, now I see. The examples I was thinking of were actually extreme scenarios. I hadn't considered that there might be some examples that weren't extreme.

Tell her to stop messing around.

She probably doesn't know about Sly having autism.
It seems like she is trying to send Sly a message but
It's not clear what that message is. I would ask her what she means.

Here's what I would say when she seems to be flirting.
Female- says something that could be seen as an attempt to flirt.
Fox- I'm not really sure what you mean by that Since I have trouble communicating with people sometimes.

Female- What do you mean by that?
Fox- I just have a hard time understanding messages you seem to be sending me.

If she says she doesn't understand then you can try
To explain your autism if you feel comfortable doing that.
If she continues to flirt after this, take it to your human resources department,
Since it could be a form of harassment. Also the pictures could be of an ex-boyfriend.

**Also I had the same thing happen a few years back, but we worked**
**About a block from each other. I was never really sure if she was flirting.**

^I've only played a few Zelda games, unfortunately. The thing that interests me about Link is that he is reincarnated over and over and over again, yet he never gives up!

^ Never gives up. Exactly! That's the reason why I chose Link. I joined WP about two years ago when my life was at rock bottom. I'd been evicted from my house and had a very low paying job. I was very depressed about the state of my life.

I chose Link because I started to view my life as a quest like a Zelda game. Challenging but rewarding. My first quest was to get another house. Done. Next I took the risk of quitting my job, which I hated. My next quest was to find a better, higher paying job. Done.

There are still many things in my life that need to be improved. My quest continues.

^I've only played Twilight Princess [until the Zora dungeon], the Minish Cap [until the fourth dungeon], and the original [badly]. My next quest is to do well in Grade 12 to make my transition into university easier eventually! :D

^ Nice! It really looks like you your priorities straight. What will you be studying in university?

I hope you'll make friends in uni. It's something I've failed at.
So you've started twelfth grade. That means you're 18? I'm just curious about your age.

When people keep such info secret, it makes me curious. It's something natural.
When I see users who don't display their age on their profile, it makes me curious about it.
But I'm not forcing anyone to disclose anything.

There are people who don't want to disclose information on the Internet.

For a very good reason.

You have idiots and perverts out there. Or just plain bored people.
