Lol, see all it took was a digital finger to get a little taste of kumbaya, who'd have thunk it?

This stuff doesn't impress the pros though. I am still rather an amateur. This is what people consider to be good ASCII art https://demozoo.org/graphics/135091/ or this https://demozoo.org/graphics/143553/

The satanistic Merkel just had a lot of background stuff, but it wasn't as detailed as your hand. The Star Trek images were impressive though. For an "amateur" I think you hold up very well to what you consider the "pros".

Now that you have linked us to an actual conversation we all can see what the problem is.
You might think about ...ya know... actually READING what you just wrote, and anticipating how its gonna be taken any group of humans (autistic or NT -it doesnt matter). And like edit things and explain things a little bit so it doesnt look like you're beating up on the person.

post edited out-- because it's the appropriate thing to do with the comment below.

Actually I do apologize to the OP.

He needs tough coaching. It would be disservice to him to take back anything I said. BUT...I should have said it in a PM, and not in a public post.

But its too late now because its visible in your quote bubble that I cant edit. I did clean it up in my post.

Sorry.

not sure if that would have been any better. sounds kinda worse to me actually. it's unsolicited and almost certainly unwanted "help", and it's not a personal matter between you and him. counterproductive if you actually care about it, pointless if you don't

I think what we can draw out of this last page is that the vast majority of people on this forum have communication issues (hello autism)....and that we like ASCII middle fingers.

No doubt, it festered on a bit too long and we got an actual discussion, lol.

Sweetie, that's exactly what you said. It was an incredibly insulting response.

I think I know what your issue is Aniihya, you want to the world to be as you imagine it should be without regard for the experience of others. This is classic ToM deficiency.

Guys let's not fight. The people who want to stay can stay and those who don't will leave if that's what they thinks right for them

I'm not fanning any flames. Seriously ... someone earlier mentioned expectations and this has to do with what I'm saying. No one, not one person on this whole planet is going to see things the same way you see them. Sometimes you have to go with what the other person is experiencing.

To be honest Aniihya, I think Androbot was trying to be helpful. She was merely stating that the comments you made in a previous post came off as hurtful and then gave her theory on why. Theory of Mind deficit is something a lot of us with autism suffer from-- it's the inability to relate to other people. The way I read it, she was actually being very polite in the way she approached the subject, which tells me she was trying to be helpful, not antagonistic.

I'd also like to add, after reviewing this thread a bit more, and a few posts that were linked here I tend to agree with Androbot, I think you suffer from Theory of Mind deficits. It's not that you're a bad person, wrong, or anything of that nature, but I think there's a communication barrier here where when people say things, it's taken wrong by you, and vice versa when you're trying to communicate with other people it comes out "wrong". Like I said, it's something a lot of us here suffer from-- which explains why communication here can be just as difficult if not more so than in the world at large.

For clarification: I'm not attacking you, I'm trying to offer you a theory that perhaps can help you put things in perspective a bit. I know the focus has been on you, and that most likely feels like an attack, but realize in the last 2 pages other people have simmered down and they're actually trying to offer you advice to help-- not just argue.
