Why do people at my work keep getting colds that they pass around to each other? Don't people have an immune system any more? Ever since September nearly everyone at work has been passing a cold around. It dies down for a couple of weeks then it starts all over again. I've never known people to get so many recurring colds in a year.
One of them is one of those people who coughs and splutters everywhere without putting his hand over his mouth or washing his hand. Actually he's the sort to shamelessly amplify every bodily function, which I think is rude. But those sorts of people are the ones who spread their germs around.
I think it's partly because people have been isolated for so long in lockdowns that we're all picking up every bug now. I've had a cold or covid since before Christmas and it's now April.
But I don't go spreading it around. I agree about those people who amplify every bodily function, they need to grow up! It's not polite.
It seems most people I know who have had covid seem to have been picking up colds, coughs, flus and sickness bugs ever since, every two months or so. Some people blame the vaccines, saying that they're weakening people's immune systems.
But me and my boyfriend have had the vaccines yet neither of us have had any viruses since 2019. As far as I know we haven't had covid either. I don't think he would be asymptomatic if he had got covid because of his health problems.
