Sexual harassment is incredibly traumatic

The only thing I've had that could be classed as sexual harrassment is a girl at work asking me to leave my lab coat open so she could look at my bulge. She was a bit cock obsessed. I have to admit I found it a bit of a turn on..

Also had a girl at work come up behind me and pretend to shag me from behind. Again, didn't bother me.

When I was 15, my best friend’s boyfriend came up behind me and rubbed his dick against me. I just froze. I should’ve turned around and kicked him in the balls. Hindsight is the best sight.

Sexual harassment has turned me a bit narcissistic because it started happening from before I can even remember and I truly believe that every single person (man and woman) wants sex with me. I was harassed by both men and women.

I have to keep reminding myself that it's not my fault that I'm like this. I would defo f*ck me though.

Maybe? Having said that I've been in a fatal car accident , the driver never drove again and the other passenger was badly traumatised. I think I did OK apart from being a nervous passenger and refusing to learn to drive for many years ( I preferred my BMX). My nervousness faded away once I became a driver (I was forced to learn to drive for my daughter's sake otherwise I still might not drive.) I also know I have PTSD from stupid things which other people generally don't suffer PTSD from which only serves to make you feel even shitier.

Sexual harassment is unwanted sexual behaviour that makes someone feel upset, scared, offended or humiliated, or is meant to make them feel that way.

If you had good bants with this colleague and it mutually built up to that and you enjoyed it, it's kinda consensual. If it was out of the blue then yes it was sexual harassment and inappropriate.

My ptsd is more from near death experiences when I was very young. I mean I've been through a lot of stuff but it is the NDE's that is the main trauma. Well that's where we're upto so far...

So if you don't mind their behaviour then their behaviour is OK?

I think the best way to explain it is that they don’t care if it offends the person, and therefore they don’t even stop to consider that it will.

No it's not OK.

It spreads a climate of objectification against humans.

Also, in the case of grooming most people think it's "OK" in the beginning, because they're sold a pack of lies.

They aren't able to judge because they're being deceived.

Is that the one that had something to do with a checkered tablecloth?

I've experienced a fair amount of sexual harassment and worse, but it makes me feel like I only attract creeps and weirdos and like no decent person who is worth having would want me.

I don't think that makes you a narcissist, bb. It means that you were taught that your self-worth is because of your sexuality. Believing or internalising what you were taught isn't the same thing as being a narcissist, imo.

For the record I hope it's OK for me to say I don't want to have sex with you. I hope you know I'm saying that with love and not trying to joke about what happened. I just want you to know some people care about the real you, and not just what you can offer with your body.
