You didn't reply to my last PM so I thought you didn't want to talk to me anymore. :(

I'm around 7-8.

Still a 7--I've now ripped up 4 of the long pants that I got less than a year ago--my survival in snow-ridden Utah depends on them.

That's terrible. What is making her ill, if you don't mind me asking?

-7 because my dad has just been diagnosed with arthritis. I think that shortens your life and makes it a life of pain. My mom has it as well, so since both parents have it that is what I am going to get when I get older. How fun. I explained the other reasons why I'm feeling pretty low already yesterday or the day before.

I don't think arthritis shortens your lifespan, it can just make some tasks rather painful (but you can take medicine and painkillers for that). Look on the bright side, at least you're not predisposed to heart disease like I am; like clockwork, my blood pressure is already a little high. Now THAT will shorten your lifespan.

Actually, arthritis can kill you if it makes it too painful to dial 911 if you're having a heart attack.

It's the heart-attack that can kill you. The arthritis doesn't help, though.

Sorry, I got distracted. I actually meant to say arhritis can shorten your lifespan in the manner I described.

But it's still the heart-attack that's shortening your lifespan, arthritis is just allowing it to do so, right?
