Is there anyone who has the same interests as me, but is *not* a hippie/hipster type?

That would be a somewhat difficult find if you're looking for an Aspie as well...(Is a hippie-type herself) Good luck!

In other words, nearly everybody who likes animated sitcoms and indie films/music is a hippie or hipster?

This OCD is going to drive me to suicide one of these days, it is so unbearable somedays.
Maybe if I was only 90 pounds or something, things wouldn't bother me so much lol.
Laxatives and self induced vomiting are once again a strong temptation.
I want to be small and frail so people will be less inclined to hurt me.

Oddly depersonalized, yet uncannily lucid. A "polished mirror"?

Meanwhile, back at the barn, twoshots has acquired the sensation of being almost god-like perfect. He posted about doing badly at a test last week, yet he just got the test back, and the score was near perfect, and the only points off were for something he didn't get wrong. :?:

Yet otherwise a bad day. Could barely understand what people were even saying to him.

See you on the flipside, contingent feelings...

I'd have to say that the odds are not in your favor. D: (is a big fan of all of the above--but definitely defines herself as a hippie, and is taken)

There have to be other Christians who are into those things.

Haha! Amazing what being forced to sit with someone in an otherwise empty classroom can do for recovering a friendship! Not exactly partners in crime once again, but hey, it's an improvement. I know that this never would have happened if we'd never tried dating, so I'm glad we've managed to work things out - it'd be sad to regret the nice times we had as a couple.

Making progress with a girl I'm interested in right now. Studying for an exam, and I feel pretty confident. I'm also final starting to see some minor results in my workout routine.

I can't claim to be completely happy with the way things played out, because I was happy the way things were. But you know what? Of all the way things could've gone, this was the best. Anything better would've been fantasy.
Still feeling very low about my future though - seems that I can't go into teaching like I've always wanted to, my degree isn't adequate to do an Arts PGCE. Damn and blast it all to hell.
