The spectrum is just like anything else in the human condition.


As Jim Morrison would say....."Some are born to sweet delight...some are born to the endless night".


AS/ASD can be a blessing, a curse, or some combination of both.


Obviously...these things are strictly determined on a case-by-case basis.


Oh....and before anyone says something like "AS/ASD is what you make of it"! !!.....you might want to do something no human has done before.


That is....provide sufficient evidence for the existence of this ghost in the machine known as free will.


If you can't manage that.....just say "AS/ASD MIGHT be what you make of it"! !! :wink:

Ask God.

People made the label. It's people's choice what to do about it or accept it.
Other people choose how to react.

I don't believe in God. If there was a God then why does my mum have cancer? Why does anyone have cancer? Or any illness? Why should people suffer?

I think a bigger question is: if God is real, why would he create sociopaths and psychopaths? Those people are born practically souless and shouldn't have any chance of ever making it into Heaven because they never feel guilt over their sins.
