No he's referring to the State of Creedonia which is his imaginative world, but I think he thinks its actual real ...

And you would be wrong.

I am not trying to belittle you at all so don't get me wrong. Your just difficult to understand, that's all. Your Creedonia is an imaginative world and maybe one day you should write some books about it or something. Also, and this is a side note, DON'T SMOKE IT WILL KILL YOU!

Bull s**t! That's exactly what you're trying to do! He doesn't need you to patronize him, he's not a little child. And you really should not speak for other people and about things of which you know nothing about Khan.

I have a theory on why people here don't like it. It's just a theory, but a theory nonetheless.

Creedonia is possibly "too real" for them, and it goes against their logic. I'm not saying this is bad, but this is just what I think.

You see, Creedonia is possibly something that only a person with AS could come up with and since not many people know how the AS mind works, they simply don't get it.

For 17 years I've been working on this; coming up with charts, maps, and people. Since day one, I've established who the main families are. I have a sketchbook that no one sees that I fill with possible characters. I have two more filled with sketches of their clothing and personal effects. One, is for the women and girls while the other, is for the men and boys. I have fourteen sketchbooks filled with weaponry and military uniforms. In fact one is devoted to aircraft.

If I can get access to it, I'll see if I can post my "mega map" This map has all the rivers, mountain ranges, and states/counties/towns on it.

I think this is really cool. I do something very similar. I have 2 or 3 different "scenarios" that have been ongoing in my mind for years. New characters come and go and they continuously evolve. It helps me relax to go to these places. This forum and my MD are the only places I have ever mentioned it.

Look at it this way...

If you spent a lot of your free time and energy doing something you love, in this case, building an imaginary world, and then felt confident enough about it to risk sharing it with other people, only to have the loudest voices in the crowd be the ones condemning you, wouldn't you be upset and more than a little discouraged?

I know I would, that's for sure.

Ackman exposed himself to us, left himself emotionally vulnerable by sharing Creedonia with us. It takes courage to share something that personal, even with friends and family, let alone strangers. Shooting him down for getting discouraged over mixed reception is just adding insult to injury.

I was considering sharing about my own imaginary world in a thread/blog of its own, but with some of the negative responses I've seen to Ackman and Creedonia, I'm not sure I want to now. I only post my fiction where I feel it would be relatively well received, and I'm beginning to doubt that here at WP, from what I've seen from some of the people here.

Here's a deal. I'll keep posting about The Kinks, if you keep on posting about Creedonia. I enjoy reading about your world.

As long as you don't post about your world ad nauseam, then you'll be fine (which is why so many people take issue with Creedonia). There's a stickied thread in Random Discussion where you can talk about your world.
