Christ on a bike. Does she know you'll be an adult in two years?

sounds like your mother is really trying hard to keep you inside. what do you feel about it, do you want to be kept there or do you want to grow a pair of wings and fly a little? i'm about your age and i'm guessing i'm way more free because i want to develop myself and my parents arent trying to keep me inside all the time. seriously going places is good for you and you can still play videogames, (i just had a big session of guitar hero on my wii :D ) there's always enough places too socialize even in small towns, and seriously haven't you got anyone that would like to accompany you outside? arent there any other teens in the neighbourhood, try to socialize closer to home first.

good luck

Video games. My addiction. My obsession. My life.

All I ever do is play video games. Mostly PS2 and DS games, as well as ROMs on my nanna's PC. After I stopped going to school, I turned to video games to keep me entertained. And now it's become a huge addiction. I've been trying to play less, but it never works. I'm also getting a XBOX 360 for my 17th birthday in May this year, not only for the games, but for the media stuff too. You see, I don't live in reality. It's become quite a problem, as I all ever talk about is video games. And how will I make friends by talking about video games non-stop? I have very few interests, most of which people my age wouldn't like. I'm not sure what to do anymore...

Berserker, maybe you should become interested in the things i am

ok ok ok just kidding... really you should try getting into video game programming or design.. something you can make money with!

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

I remember an old program for windows called Game Maker... it allowwed you to create video games so easily without programming yet you could make them pretty elaborate...
