i can relate with what tim tex is goin through.....

i REALLY like someone...... and for a lot of reasons... it's just not gonna happen anytime soon with that person, if at all.....

i have no desire to like anyone else....... but im settling in on the solitude.

yeah i have my crappy lonely nights... but i guess all in all....... im ok.

not that i have much else to focus on other than work....... i still find things to do.... and that's all i can do.

I have made myself virtually unavailable to everyone else, even though there is no guarantee that my friend would want anything beyond friendship.

Do you mean us, or other people, Tim?

I mean other females who might want to be more than friends.

Everyone is welcome to be my friend.

Do whatever you want...just don't develop expectations for something that may never happen.

I didn't mean to upset you by commenting. It's just that you don't know what the future holds, and I think if you deny someone who is willing and ready to have a relationship with you because you have feelings for someone who isn't in a position to start a relationship that you could missout on something. However, you are your own person, and you need to make your own decisions, so do whatever you want.

Tim, you need a Plan B. Something to fall back on if this chick gets cold feet. There's ample time to start crafting that plan... if I were you, I'd get to it.

Yet the one who isn't ready is the only one who has both the same interests *and* the same beliefs. For years, I had prayed that someone like her would come my way, and now God is preventing me from being with her.

I did try looking for people who were willing and ready to have a relationship, but none of them had the qualities I was looking for. And even when I do make the first move, online correspondences last only 2-3 days, then I never hear from them again. And this is with other Aspies. NTs blow me off completely.

My correspondence with the one I'm interested in has lasted nearly a year.
