Motivational defecit, at school.

I dropped out of high school with the intent of getting my GED and going to college "early" but in the interim I kept going to my old school so I could hang out with my friends - I even got a job there working with the snack van owner so it would be worth my while.
My dad came to me one day and said, "You're doing what you've always wanted to do in school: NOTHING."

Also, when my band was getting radio air time and I let my parents know we were about to go on tour opening for Helloween, my mother said, "Make sure you use a stage name so no one knows you're related to us."

a good friend of mine was asked by people she knew why she hung out with "the guy with the long hair (me)" followed by: he's scary. she told me she got really angry on them, but when she told me i was depressed for a week just because all my life i've been trying to keep everyone happy and still the shallow people never do and wil be prejudiced about others.
